California Appeals Court Reinstates Steroid Class Action

LOS ANGELES -- The Second District California Court of Appeal on Jan. 21 reinstated a putative class action seeking reimbursement for the purchase of illegal anabolic steroids from General Nutrition Stores Inc. (GNC), saying that individual consumers' subjective belief as to the value of the products and knowledge of their illegality are immaterial (Steroid Hormone Product Cases, No. B211968, Calif.
