Magistrate Judge Rejects Defendants’ Privilege Waiver Arguments
WASHINGTON, D.C. - Trustees to a pension fund did not waive privilege over documents containing legal advice from the attorney representing the fund even though the information was shared with unpaid consultants, a federal magistrate judge ruled Feb. 12 in denying the defendants' motion to compel and ordering production of the documents for an in camera review (Trustees of the Electrical Workers Local No. 26 Pension Trust Fund, et al. v.
